RoHS - Restrictions of Hazardous substances
Sunny Computer Technology, a world leader of power supply solutions, continues to meet and/or exceed the latest Governmental Regulations and International Standards, the most recent example being the Restriction of Hazardous Substances(or RoHS) regulations scheduled to take effect in Europe in the summer of 2006.
Currently, we already have numerous models with RoHS standards available, with more models being introduced monthly. We look forward to any inquiries you have concerning the models you are interested in.
The RoHS legislation, which limits the use of certain hazardous materials for electronic and electrical equipment, was introduced and enacted in Europe in early 2003. It requires full compliance by July 1st, 2006, for products being introduced to the market.
This RoHS directive limits the amount of six environmentally hazardous substances:
Lead (Pb), Mercury (Hg), Cadmium (Cd), Hexavalent Chromium (Cr+6), Polybrominated Biphenyl (PBB), Polybrominated Diphenyl Ether (PBDE)
The Sunny Group has pledged its commitment to being fully compliant with the European RoHS Directive well before the required deadline, as indicated by the increasing number of Sunny products that already meet or exceed the new requirem ents. Itīs typical of our continuing commitment to lead the way in product innovation and development.
Our aggressive implementation of RoHS compliance, combined with our outstanding capability of Non-RoHS product manufacture, positions Sunny Computer Technology to meet all customer requirements both now, and into the future.
